Else Harney Biography
Born in Wuppertal in 1919
1937 - 1938 studied in Munich with Prof. Hugo Troendle
1939 - 1940 studied with Irma Breusing and Milly Steger
1940 - 1942 studied with Prof. Werner Heuser
1946 - 1951 freelance painter and sculptor
1951 - 1952 apprenticeship in pottery by master potter Rudi Stahl in Höhr-Grenzhausen, pupil of Albrecht Klauer-Simonis
1952 own workshop with Wendelin steel on Coraidelstein Castle in Klotten on the Mosel
1966 - 1968 Faenza, Concourso Internazionale della ceramica d'arte, diploma
1971 Mainz, State Prize of Rhineland-Palatinate
Died in 1984
